Thakker Group of Companies was formed by Mr. Jamnadas Thakker, a veteran in the business of customs clearance and freight forwarding. He has more than 50 years experience in the field of customs clearance.

Using his experience in the industry, he applied for a Customs House Agent license in the year 1980 and ably assisted by his elder son Mr. Chandrakant Thakker, managed to secure the prestigious license from the Indian Government after qualifying for the oral and written exams.

Soon was formed 24x7 Logistics Private Limited a full service customs clearance company. Very soon they expanded into freight forwarding, shipping, nvocc operations, cargo consolidation, groupage containers, de-consolidation etc. and formed TAS Shipping & Consolidation.

Soon thereafter, with the entry of Yogesh Thakker into the family business they formed CATCO - Contracting And Trading Company. Catco is involved in the business of exports, imports, indenting and international mail distribution.

Thakker Money Multipliers Pvt. Ltd. was formed when the environment in India was conducive to finance, leasing and hire-purchase business. The Group quickly capitalized on the opportunity presented and started the business of short term and long term finance, leasing activities and hire-purchase of consumer durables, cars etc.
